CALL-OUT ASSISTANT PRODUCER
Theatre Re is looking for an enthusiastic, committed, and organised Assistant Producer to join their Executive Team. This role is ideally suited to open and reliable emerging producers wishing to establish a long term relationship with a touring theatre company. This is a paid opportunity.
Overall mission statement:
The Assistant Producer will support the Artistic Director and General Manager with producing duties for all touring and training activities, as well as audience development and marketing activities. This opportunity is particularly suited for emerging producers wanting to gain a hands-on experience on the inner workings of an artist led mid-scale touring company.
Period:
From Dec 16th 2024 to Dec 19th 2025
Fee:
£8,400 - 5 days per month for 12 months @ £140 per day. A day is based on 8 working hours.

The ideal candidate will:
Tasks:
Support the booking of further training and engagement activities
Support logistics and organisation of post-show discussions in all touring locations
Manage and track all ticket discount offers in connection with each venue
Manage complementary ticket lists in connection with each venue and ticket holders
Support with any events that may occur while on tour in collaboration with CSM, GM and AD
Contribute to the organisation of creating digital content (photos, trailers, interviews with AD and company members) to promote all aspects of the company’s work
To follow set of objectives and timeline of activities established in collaboration with AD on a monthly basis

The ideal candidate will:
- Have a passion for live theatre
- Have excellent organisational skills
- Be good at managing their time and priorities
- Be comfortable working collaboratively in a pressurised environment
- Be confident at using various software such as Google Drive, Excel, Word, Pages but also Zoom, Weebly…etc
- Have basic editing and designing skills
- Be confident at using social media channels such as Instagram, Facebook, Youtube and X
- Have effective interpersonal skills and an appetite for solving problems
- Have enough time to commit to this role
