TRAINING PROGRAMMES

‘Theatre Re have been teaching and working creatively on RADA's MA Theatre Lab for some years now. Through the rigor and theatrical poetry of corporal mime / expression, the training offers our students a concrete way of extending a sense of what's possible for the actor body onstage, beyond naturalism. The training is rooted in a tradition of discipline and exploration, providing the students liberating and clear vocabularies for creating highly physical work, deepening a mutual respect for craft in the ensemble.'
Ian Morgan, Course Leader, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art MA Theatre Lab
'Theatre Re's playful and rigourous approach gave the students a fantastic insight into the techniques and devising process of physical storytelling. It gave the students practical skills and inspired them to think more deeply about how they use their bodies in performance. An inspiring and essential look at the importance of live theatre'
Michael White, Lecturer, Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama BA Acting
'Theatre Re’s work with our students has been excellent, characterised by precision and clarity in the teaching and directing; as well as efficiency in their organisation. Their training has offered students access to a discrete and rigorous technique for understanding the expressive potential of the body. Guillaume’s directing led students to a physically adept and rhythmically striking performance, allowing students to work as a close knit ensemble with rigour and bravery.'
Thomas Wilson, Programme Director, Rose Bruford College BA ETA

Participation and training is a core element of our work.

We offer training to  secondary schools, colleges, universities and independent training institutions. Our training programmes are designed to support students development both in creating work and building performance skills. We also run regular open workshops for actors in training, industry professionals, and community and youth groups.

All our training activities are inclusive and tailored to the group we are working with, so every workshop is different.
