Folktale Project (working title)
“Fairy tales are more than true: not because they tell us that dragons exist, but because they tell us that dragons can be beaten.” Neil Gaiman
For this new project we are diving into the world of ancient folktales to explore isolation, compassion, fertility and parenthood. While embracing the magic, the surreal and the absurd of these stories, we want to also unravel what a modern evolution for these tales can be. This exploration stems from an obscure desire for a poetic revenge on our time and the need for hope.
