Moments
IN DEVELOPMENT IN 2023/24
About Moments
'I give it (grandfather's watch) to you not that you may remember time, but that you might forget it now and then for a moment and not spend all your breath trying to conquer it.' William Faulkner, The Sound and the Fury
After more than 12 years of working together as Theatre Re, making 6 shows and touring to 16 countries across 3 continents, we are taking a moment to stop... and ask ourselves: Why.
Why do we do what we do, why is it important and why should we keep doing it?
At the intersection of a TED Talk and Theatrical Performance with our trademark style combining striking imagery and action with original live music, we are going straight in with the big questions exploring success, the nature of time and what lies beyond language.
The development of this new project is funded by Arts Council England, co-commissioned by London International Mime Festival, and supported by The Point Eastleigh, Shoreditch Town Hall, The Lowry Salford and University of York. It will take place over a number of months in 2023 and 2024.
