READY Participation & Training Programmes Participation and training is a core element of our work. We run regular open workshops for a range of individuals both in-person and online. We also offer training to colleges, universities and independent training institutions. Our READY training programme of workshops and seminars is designed to support students development both in creating work and building performance skills. Theatre Re’s training supports qualifications in drama, dance and contemporary performing arts as well as actors in training, industry professionals, and community and youth groups. All our learning activities are inclusive and tailored to the group we are working with, so every workshop is different. ‘Guillaume Pigé and his company Theatre Re have been teaching and working creatively on RADA's MA Theatre Lab for some years now. Through the rigor and theatrical poetry of corporal mime / expression, the training offers our students a concrete way of extending a sense of what's possible for the actor body onstage, beyond naturalism. The training is rooted in a tradition of discipline and exploration, providing the students liberating and clear vocabularies for creating highly physical work, deepening a mutual respect for craft in the ensemble.'

Our training programmes aim to unlock creativity and develop collaborative and performance skills through :
- Discovering and using a specific movement language: Corporeal Mime
- Creating physical and visual original performance pieces
- Exploring the principle of the reverse metaphor by writing with movement, space and rhythm first
- Stimulating imagination and developing a taste for non-naturalistic work
- Giving participants improvisation experience, using theatre conventions to construct their work whilst considering both form and narrative
- Building ways to communicate meaning and artistic intention through development of performance skills
