Picture
Adeola Yemitan

Adeola is a London-based actor, director, and interdisciplinary artist. She trained with the National Youth Theatre (NYT) REP company and has since performed in numerous theatre productions including the titular role of Antigone at Mercury Theatre Colchester, the RSC’s Much Ado About Nothing, and The Caucasian Chalk Circle at Rose Theatre Kingston. She was commissioned by the NYT to write and direct a piece for COP26 in Glasgow, called ‘I Don’t Care’, looking at the apathy surrounding climate change action. Original vocal music playing with rhythm and harmony is a large part of her practice, and she is currently developing a show about beauty. Originally commissioned as a one-woman-one-act play, she hopes to explore working with a chorus of voices in increasingly playful ways.
